What is Red Light therapy?

The average American spends over 90% of their time indoors, which means most people don’t get as much natural light as they need for optimal health. Red light therapy, also called “photobiomodulation”, supplements the light we need from our environment by delivering concentrated wavelengths of LED red and near infrared light to our skin and cells, without the dangerous UV rays or excess heat.

How JOOVV®️ works

The stimulation of light energy works similar to photosynthesis in plants. As the light is absorbed into the body’s cells, it interacts with light-sensitive components in the mitochondria, called cytochromes. The process promotes the body’s natural ability to heal by encouraging cells to produce more ATP energy, or adenosine triphosphate – the energy that fuels everything we do.
